The Television Academy, renowned for its annual Emmy® Awards honoring excellence in television, today announced a slate of exclusive new programming and top stars added to the lineup for its inaugural Televerse, with tickets and All Access Passes on sale now for all sessions available.
Televerse is an immersive festival experience for both industry insiders and fans of television from Aug. 14-16, 2025, at the JW Marriott at L.A. LIVE. Televerse offers Academy members, industry insiders and fans unprecedented access to today’s top creators, storytellers and stars along with dynamic panels featuring this year’s Emmy-nominated programs and behind-the-scenes trade secrets of popular shows.

Based On: A New Take on Adaptation
From books to podcasts to films to longform articles and news stories — TV’s prolific IP-boom continues. Join the writers and producers behind TV’s past, current and upcoming adaptations for a conversation about how the adaptation process varies from format to format, their personal and creative relationship to the source material, and how the world of IP has evolved alongside the streaming era.

Inside the Mystery: Irish Blood
An inside look at Acorn TV’s new murder mystery, Irish Blood, with star/executive producer Alicia Silverstone; director/executive producer Molly McGlynn; and AMC Networks EVP of Linear and Streaming, Courtney Thomasma. The six-part drama series follows hot-shot Los Angeles divorce lawyer Fiona Fox (Silverstone) who receives a letter from her estranged father (Jason O'Mara) and sets out to uncover the mystery of his disappearance. Silverstone and McGlynn will discuss filming on location in Ireland, balancing suspense and drama with the series’ more comedic elements and family dynamics and what to expect from the rest of Season One. Irish Blood premieres Aug. 11 on Acorn TV.
The Legal Future of AI in TV: IP, Licensing and Legislative Frontlines
A timely and essential discussion exploring how courts, lawmakers and studios are responding to AI’s impact on copyright, licensing and rights protection — from key cases and legislative trends to the rapid pace at which legal precedent around AI continues to evolve and shape the TV industry. Performers & AI: Contracts, Consent and Compensation
An in-depth exploration of AI-related protections and compensation for live-action, voiceover, stunt and commercial talent, with experts from SAG-AFTRA, the National Association of Voice Actors (NAVA) and Television Academy peer groups. Tim Friedlander (president and co-founder, NAVA), actor Dina Sherman, casting director Lisa Zambetti and Emmy-nominated actor Bob Bergen will delve into union and non-union AI clauses for television performers as well as the opportunities and challenges facing TV talent as AI use within the industry continues to evolve. The State of Inclusion
A conversation featuring studio executives and DEIA practitioners who are championing inclusive media, elevating diversity, equity and accessibility — on and off the screen. Our panelists will share their strategies to keep inclusion relevant at this pivotal moment for the industry as well as their real-world success stories and their thoughts on the future of DEIA in media, emerging trends and ongoing efforts to create a more inclusive and equitable landscape. Panelists include September Hill (senior program manager for advocacy and outreach, NAACP Hollywood bureau), Alex Schmider (senior director, entertainment, GLAAD), Tiffany Chao (VP, entertainment and media, Gold House), Diana Luna (executive director, NALIP) and Habib Veera (board chair, MPAC Hollywood bureau).

A conversation about the creative, cultural and economic benefits of producing television in LA with the producers and executives who make it happen.
